Our trip starts at Cooper Landing, on the upper Kenai River. Approximately 100 miles (one hour and a half) south of Anchorage on the Sterling Highway. FROM KENAI : Drive south on Spur Highway 11 miles to Soldotna. Turn north on Sterling Highway traveling approximately 35 miles (45 minutes) to Cooper Landing.
